{"id":35145,"date":"2017-02-03T11:22:54","date_gmt":"2017-02-03T09:22:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=35145"},"modified":"2017-02-03T11:22:54","modified_gmt":"2017-02-03T09:22:54","slug":"spacestation-marketing-internship-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/spacestation-marketing-internship-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"The SpaceStation Marketing Internship 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SpaceStation is seeking an enthusiastic marketing intern to join the Cape Town based Marketing team.<\/p>\n<p>The role supports the existing B2B marketing strategy, with specific focus on the updating and roll-out of marketing collateral and materials.<\/p>\n<p>The SpaceStation is SA\u2019s leading digital media sales company, selling advertising on top sites such as News24, SuperSport and Men\u2019s Health.<\/p>\n<p><u>Skills and Competencies:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">Online<\/span> savvy<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">PowerPoint<\/span> and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Marketing experience advantageous<\/li>\n<li>WordPress basic skills advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Social media experience\/understanding<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Good communicator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Job <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">description<\/span>:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updating of all brand specific marketing collateral on The SpaceStation website (WordPress) and PowerPoint on a <span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">monthly<\/span> basis. Includes adding new statistics from our entire portfolio for that month for all the sites we represent.<\/li>\n<li>Update all demographic and audience marketing material on a monthly basis with updated statistics.<\/li>\n<li>Marketing collateral \/ <span id=\"IL_AD9\" class=\"IL_AD\">stock<\/span> management, including ordering stock with suppliers and sourcing new appropriate collateral. Includes organisation of store room and stock management control.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing couriering of stock between <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">offices<\/span> and for events, and all associated paperwork.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with conference or event organisation, including quote requests, liaison with hotels\/venues, guest lists, branding, client invitations, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with creative design <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">jobs<\/span> including briefing creative for the above marketing collateral requirements. Working with in-house designers to update all marketing material.<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with printers and suppliers on an ad hoc basis.<\/li>\n<li>General support of the Marketing team, and assisting other departments with Marketing related tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with managing Twitter and LinkedIn profiles including daily updates and researching for appropriate content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All <span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">applications<\/span> can be sent to <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:marketing@spacemail.co.za\"><strong>marketing@spacemail.co.za<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nPosition is based in the Media24 building is Foreshore, Cape Town.<br \/>\n<span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">Duration<\/span>: 6 months<br \/>\nRemuneration: R4000 a month<br \/>\n<strong>Applications close 3 February 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SpaceStation is seeking an enthusiastic marketing intern to join the Cape Town based Marketing team.
