If you are passionate about the African continent and the digital media landscape \u2013 and you identify strongly with the\u00a0Africa Geographic\u00a0brand, we are looking for you to join our team!<\/p>\n<div>This is a three-month <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">internship<\/span> with potential for joining our team full-time.<\/div>\n<div>\n<b>In your internship you\u2019ll be responsible for the following general marketing <span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">tasks<\/span>:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin, processes and communications for our\u00a0Photographer of the Year\u00a0competition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Social media: assisting in general management of platforms and scheduling calendar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Content: assisting in the running of our\u00a0blog\u00a0site \u2013 compiling, editing, formatting and optimising blog posts from a wide contributor <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">database<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Stats: assisting in compiling social media performance statistics and reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Campaigns: assisting in weekly strategising of content performance and campaign ideas\/communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">Requirements<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid written <span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Good understanding of social media platforms and strategies\/social media language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Advantageous<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social media management tools, WordPress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Skills\/Attributes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-motivated team player with a passion for African content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We consider this position to be of great value to us in our marketing efforts to a highly engaged and passionate audience<\/p>\n<p>Publisher and safari company for over 24 years.
