{"id":35338,"date":"2017-02-16T10:43:01","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T08:43:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=35338"},"modified":"2017-02-16T10:43:01","modified_gmt":"2017-02-16T08:43:01","slug":"freight-forwarding-clearance-learnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/freight-forwarding-clearance-learnership.html","title":{"rendered":"Freight Forwarding &#038; Clearance &#8211; Learnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kuehne+Nagel is excited to continue its efforts to support the growth of skills in the industry through formal learnership programs.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud of the learners who successfully completed this 2 year program in the past and built their careers in the Freight Forwarding &amp; Clearing environment<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your tasks and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will host a 2 year program from 1 April 2017 &#8211; 31 March 2019 and want to invite applications for suitable candidates to participate in this comprehensive learnership underwritten by the TETA.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidates will complete theoretical course work and gain practical experience across Kuehne+Nagel&#8217;s operations to become skilled Freight Forwarders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Successful completion of the theoretical course work by attending classes and submitting assignments<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking experiential learning in various departments including Airfreight, Seafreight, Contract Logistics, Roadfreight, Customs and Finance.<\/li>\n<li>Collating a portfolio of evidence throughout the 2 year program and successfully completing a final exam<\/li>\n<li>Achieving competency in all relevant NQF 3 Level Unit Standards within the 24 month period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your skills and experience<\/strong>&gt;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric with Mathematics and English (Geography will be a distinct advantage) with a minimum 50% achievement in these subjects<\/li>\n<li>A relevant post-matric qualification will be a distinct advantage<\/li>\n<li>Age group 18 &#8211; 24<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy<\/li>\n<li>Good command of the English language, both spoken and written<\/li>\n<li>Solid mathematical ability and proven skill to solve complex problems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adapt to a changing working environment<\/li>\n<li>Good time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn independently<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be South African citizens with a valid ID Document and no criminal record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/external.kuehne-nagel.careers\/details\/req21622\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to REGISTER AND APPLY ONLINE<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kuehne+Nagel is excited to continue its efforts to support the growth of skills in the industry through formal learnership programs.
