Are you in a possession of a 3-year tertiary qualification with extensive experience in an office administration or secretarial services?<\/p>\n<p><strong>PERSONAL ASSISTANT REF NO: 62\/2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Office of the Deputy Director-General: Fisheries Management<br \/>\nSALARY : R262 272 per annum<br \/>\nCENTRE : Cape Town<\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must be in possession of a 3-year tertiary qualification with extensive experience in an office administration or secretarial services.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in providing logistical support for internal and external meetings\/workshops.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in financial management of the office budget, financial administration and procurement support.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of departmental prescripts\/policies.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills both verbal and written.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organising skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good telephone etiquette.<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills in MS Office software.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DUTIES :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will be responsible to render the secretarial and office administrative support to the Deputy Director-General: Fisheries Management.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain office systems, including screening of calls, preparing professionally typed documents, responding to correspondence as directed, managing the Deputy Director-General electronic and manual diary.<\/p>\n<p>Record incoming and outgoing mail in the office of the Deputy Director-General.<\/p>\n<p>Distribute correspondence among line managers, file and keep record of documents.<\/p>\n<p>Manage travel documents and weekly planners for the Deputy Director-General.<\/p>\n<p>Arrange internal and external meetings properly.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare documents to attend meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Liaise between internal and external stakeholders and office of the Deputy Director-General.<\/p>\n<p>Provide inputs for the drafting and compiling budget for the office of the Deputy Director-General.<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for the procurement for the office of the Deputy Director-General.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE : In terms of the departmental employment equity target, priority will be given to Indian female and male, Coloured females and male, White males and Female, African Male and People with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PERSONAL ASSISTANT REF NO: 63\/2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chief Directorate: Aquaculture &amp;
