We are looking for a young, energetic and creative individual to join our team as the communications assistant, available to start immediately.<\/p>\n<p>This role is an <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">internship<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The role is based at our offices in Newlands, Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p>The intern will work Mondays to Fridays, 9.30am to 2.30pm, and will also be available after these hours and on weekend for events, when required.<\/p>\n<p>The intern must also be available to travel countrywide.<\/p>\n<p><b>The purpose of the role:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage with the company\u2019s digital communities through social media, email and the web<\/li>\n<li>Assist the communications department with day-to-day planning, executing and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Posting live content to all digital platforms during events and activations<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the general administration of the communications department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Duties and responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and develop content plans and calendars across social media, email and website<\/li>\n<li>Produce content for social media, email and website using our clients\u2019 tone of voice<\/li>\n<li>Research news and stay in touch with trends around our clients\u2019 and our own communities<\/li>\n<li>Interact day-to-day with social media communities; posting, liking, sharing, commenting, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Moderate social media using our clients\u2019 guidelines and our social media policies<\/li>\n<li>Respond to client email queries consistently and timeously<\/li>\n<li>Monitor social media, email and website activity and compose detailed, accurate reports<\/li>\n<li>Manage and brief graphic design content for social media, email and website<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with key influencers and bloggers relative to our clients\u2019 communities<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain the company\u2019s media and graphics library<\/li>\n<li>Post live content at events, including photos, videos and captions, to social media<\/li>\n<li>Assist with general and event administration, filing, paperwork, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Studying towards a formal qualification or recently qualified<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate; <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">Microsoft Word<\/span>, Excel, PowerPoint, email and internet<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable on social media; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and<\/li>\n<li>Able to work late hours and on weekends, when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good listening, speaking and writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to take but also work independently<\/li>\n<li>Creative, dynamic and energetic; passionate about digital media<\/li>\n<li>Well-versed in the English language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantageous<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A keen interest in sports and sports marketing is beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Well connected with social media influencers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Skills\/Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Punctual, well-groomed and well-mannered<\/li>\n<li>Personable, pleasant, able to work well within a diverse team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remuneration: Basic<br \/>\nLocation: Cape Town, Newlands, Claremont<br \/>\nJob level: Student<br \/>\nJob policy: Employment Equity position<br \/>\nType: Contract<br \/>\nReference: #360<\/p>\n<p>To apply for this internship, please submit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0covering letter of no more than 300 words, motivating why you would be perfect for this position<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">curriculum vitae<\/span> of no more than three pages with no more than three previous positions and three traceable references<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please do not submit any proof of <span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">qualifications<\/span> yet, these will be asked of you later.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.treblegroup.com\/careers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><b>CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/b><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<b>Email:\u00a0<span class=\"brev-d8c78fd6-7968-4768-84fe-fc7440808d48\"><a href=\"mailto:&lt;\/b&gt;reception@treblegroup.com\">reception@treblegroup.com<\/a>.<\/span><u><\/u><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span class=\"brev-d8c78fd6-7968-4768-84fe-fc7440808d48\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><b><span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">Applications<\/span> close 03 March 2017.
