Position Overview<\/span>:<\/b>
\nA position for a Cashbook\/Debtors Intern has become vacant. The main focus of the position is to support and assist the Financial Manager and Debtors\/Cashbook Supervisor in the payment of cashbook items as well as in the allocation of payments and following up of monies due to the Company.<\/p>\n

The position is a fixed term contract of 1 year and is an internship<\/span> designed to provide experience in the field of Finance.<\/p>\n

Specific Role Responsibilities <\/strong>
\no Ensure accurate documentation is received for the payout of cashbook items.
\no Ensure compliance with company policies as well as regulatory acts (VAT Act) before processing and payout of cashbook items.
\no Monthly<\/span> filing of cheques and substantiating documentation.
\no Ensure accurate recording of the transaction in the accounting information<\/span>system.
\no Capturing and allocating of payments correctly in the debtors module.
\no Resolution of account related queries.
\no Processing of journal entries.
\n
\n<\/b>Qualifications<\/span> and Experience<\/b>
\no The position is ideal for a school leaver and therefore requires Grade 12 including minimum 60% pass mark in the subjects Mathematics<\/span>\/ Accounting\/ Economics and studying towards a relevant degree\/diploma
\no A graduate in possession of a relevant degree\/ diploma would be an advantage.<\/p>\n
