{"id":35535,"date":"2017-03-03T13:05:19","date_gmt":"2017-03-03T11:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=35535"},"modified":"2017-03-03T13:05:19","modified_gmt":"2017-03-03T11:05:19","slug":"brewing-millwright-apprentice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/brewing-millwright-apprentice.html","title":{"rendered":"Brewing Millwright Apprentice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This apprenticeship will acquire knowledge, skills and technical competencies in the respective engineering discipline in order to perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on plant equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Reference Code: SAB-ZA-23461<\/p>\n<p><u>Competence Requirements<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 with Mathematics &amp; Science (HG) or Technical Matric.<\/li>\n<li>National Technical certificate (N3) or higher in the relevant engineering discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a team player.<\/li>\n<li>High energy levels and action orientated.<\/li>\n<li>Mental alertness, analytical and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Conceptual skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Output and Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the 3-4 year apprentice programme as per SAB\/ ABI \/ MERSETA requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain, repair &amp; optimise plant &amp; associated devices under guidance of qualified Artisans\/ Technicians.<\/li>\n<li>Work in teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a safe, healthy and risk free working environment (level 1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Suitable applicants will appear before a selection committee.<\/p>\n<p>After which the successful candidates will be required to attend at a Training Institute for practical training (at least 6 weeks per year).<\/p>\n<p>On-the-job training is provided at SAB Rosslyn.<\/p>\n<p>The advert has minimum requirements listed.
