The purpose of the program is to give qualifying candidates an opportunity to gain work experience as an\u00a0<strong>ICR Intern.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DEVELOPMENTAL OUTPUTS \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By means of blend of classroom, e-learning and on the job training, interns will learn how to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate incoming and outgoing feeds via Satellite networks.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate incoming and outgoing feeds via ATM &amp; Fiber network.<\/li>\n<li>Check and maintain technical requirements with Host Broadcasters and outside broadcasters.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and manage traffic flow and correct audio and video defects.<\/li>\n<li>Ingest into Ardome and ISIS media servers.<\/li>\n<li>Generate reports on completion of every shift.<\/li>\n<li>Follow operational instructions as per standard operation procedure (SOP).<\/li>\n<li>Execute instructions according to the client\u2019s requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with all relevant parties prior and during transmission<\/li>\n<li>Adhere and survive in a 24\/7 shift operation environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3-year Diploma \/ Degree in Electrical Engineering \/ Electronics<\/li>\n<li>No work experience required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a quick learner.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work 12-hour long shift, including weekends and public holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Dedicated problem solver.<\/li>\n<li>Responds well under pressure \/ tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Customer service oriented, with the ability to command and take instructions as well.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic, energetic and self-starter.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and results driven.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/multichoice.taleo.net\/careersection\/mgroup_external_cs1\/jobdetail.ftl?job=1700270\">Apply Online for the Multichoice: Engineering Graduate \/ Internship Programme 2017<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Closing Date: March 2017 Location: Randburg Supersport Satellite Contribution\u00a0seeks\u00a0to appoint suitably\u00a0qualified, South African citizens to participate in a 12 months Internship program.
