\u2022 Grade 12
\n\u2022 A valid Code C1 driver\u2019s license
\n\u2022 A valid PDP.
\n\u2022 Basic Ambulance Assistant<\/p>\n
\u2022 Registered with the HPCSA and Fire Fighter I would be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/u><\/p>\n
\u2022 Report to Leading Fighters, assist with operational duties, maintenance, cleaning of station, fire & rescue vehicles and equipment.
\n\u2022 Perform daily inspections of fire & rescue vehicles and equipment.
\n\u2022 Attend occupational health and safety programs.
\n\u2022 Participate in fire prevention to ensure and maintain the safety of the community.
\n\u2022 Assist with complaints from members of the public.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the department.<\/p>\n
