The successful candidate will report to the Cellar Manager.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">Internship<\/span>: Cellar Technology \/ Food Technology and Quality Management<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose is to provide practical work experience to a student currently in the last year of study and require In-Service Training in order to obtain their qualification, and\/or those recently graduated, however unemployed who require exposure in a work environment.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract commencing 1 May 2017 and terminating on 30 April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in the Cellar department in Port Elizabeth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The intention is to give practical work experience to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students who are in their final year of study and\/or graduates who require exposure in a work environment and require<\/li>\n<li>Practical work experience in order to obtain their qualification.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate will be expected to enter into a full-time 12 month contract commencing on 1 May 2017 and terminating on 30 April 2018<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Learning Areas would include, but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quality Assurance (Intrinsic and extrinsic quality control, Quality Management Systems, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Receiving of different Bulk Wine and Spirit products within specification<\/li>\n<li>Blending of different Wine and Spirit products<\/li>\n<li>Different filtration systems<\/li>\n<li>Final product correction and preparation before production<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To qualify for selection and participation in this <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">programme<\/span>, candidates must satisfy the following <span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">criteria<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizenship<\/li>\n<li>Satisfactory academic record and in final year of obtaining relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. National Diploma in Food Technology and\/or Diploma in Cellar Technology and Wine making; National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry; BSc Bio Technology, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy (<span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">MS Word<\/span>, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Sound communication and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position<\/li>\n<li>Willing and able to work extended hours<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing, able and committed to enter into and complete the 12 month internship programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prospective candidates must submit the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Covering letter\/ Motivational letter<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">Curriculum vitae<\/span> (CV)<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of tertiary academic record (progress report)<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate<\/li>\n<li>A letter from the tertiary institution stating the internship requirement and format for evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Certified copies of Identity Document<\/li>\n<li>Certified copies of <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">drivers<\/span> licence (if applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u><span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">Application<\/span> process:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested and meet all requirements<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/career012.successfactors.eu\/career?career_ns=job_listing&amp;company=C0001101178P&amp;navBarLevel=JOB_SEARCH&amp;rcm_site_locale=en_GB&amp;site=VjItSVk0WmMxVFduNTNLSFF0TmpDRmptUT09&amp;career_job_req_id=5742&amp;selected_lang=en_GB&amp;jobAlertController_jobAlertId=&amp;jobAlertController_jobAlertName=&amp;_s.crb=bJb2zgT0eGGs1jHe6bBBJfhM4aE%3d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited for the above mentioned position in our Cellar Department based at Port Elizabeth Production.
