Being a small business, roles are not defined solely by your title and therefore, everyone carries a large portfolio which you will be required to support.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re a small team of 5 which means that you are going to get exposure to all aspects of our business and be called upon to assist the Truth team where possible.<\/p>\n<p><b>Your role, therefore, includes the following <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">requirements<\/span>: (but not limited to)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct market and competitor research\/analysis for both Truth\u2019s clients and internal use<\/li>\n<li>Assist with general administration within the marketing team across multiple touch points (social media, newsletters, <span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">website<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Update website content<\/li>\n<li>Research content for social media schedules<\/li>\n<li>Assist with office administration<\/li>\n<li>Execute social media plan for Truth<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and input into Truth\u2019s newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate various marketing projects where applicable<\/li>\n<li>Copy editing and proof-reading of presentations, articles, newsletters, whitepapers<\/li>\n<li>Create power point slides to support client work<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with marketing team to analyse and report on marketing campaign data<\/li>\n<li>Help organise events such as customer academy workshops or any PR related breakfasts with partners\/CSI initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Manage Truth customer databases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This role is at the core of the Truth team, and others will rely on your work every single day.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed or working towards the completion of a diploma\/degree (essential) in marketing or business (preferable)<\/li>\n<li>Proficient on the entire Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, <span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">PowerPoint<\/span>, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in online tools such as WordPress, Hootsuite and Mailchimp (advantageous)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of how to use\u00a0of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin for business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Skills\/Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flawless written English<\/li>\n<li>Strong decision-making and problem-solving experience<\/li>\n<li>Be a self-starter, i.e. able to work independently and collaboratively in a team<\/li>\n<li>Solid interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Punctual and professional attitude<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with powerpoint<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy doing research and collating findings<\/li>\n<li>Detail oriented<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, self-starter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>If you are interested in applying for this role, please email us and include:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Your CV<\/li>\n<li>Two paragraphs on your interest in the role at Truth and how it will benefit you and what you believe you will bring to the team as the new marketing intern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>location: Cape Town, Woodstock, Salt River<br \/>\nEducation level: Diploma<br \/>\nJob level: Junior<br \/>\nOwn transport required: Yes<br \/>\nType: 6 months<br \/>\nReference: #TruthIntern2017<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"jobinstance-application-header\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blogger.com\/null\" name=\"jobinstance-application-header\"><\/a><span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">Send<\/span> your <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">cover letter<\/span> and CV to Lauren Moore:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@truth.co.za?subject=Application%20for%20Marketing%20Intern%20via%20Bizcommunity.com\"><b>info@truth.co.za.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Truth is a boutique consultancy specialising in customer centricity, CRM and loyalty programme development.
