{"id":35936,"date":"2017-04-07T06:24:33","date_gmt":"2017-04-07T04:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=35936"},"modified":"2017-04-06T17:43:18","modified_gmt":"2017-04-06T15:43:18","slug":"hci-foundation-internship-opportunity-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/hci-foundation-internship-opportunity-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"HCI Foundation Internship Opportunity 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The HCI Foundation is an independent trust, controlled by its trustees, drawn from people across the spectra of social development and financial experience.<\/p>\n<p>These include members of the HCI Board of Directors, employees from subsidiary companies and independent experts who are able to add value to the specific foci of the Foundation\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>The HCI Foundation seeks to appoint a\u00a0Graduate and <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">Alumni<\/span> Engagement\u00a0Intern, based in the Western Cape.<\/p>\n<p>This is envisaged as a 12 month contract.<\/p>\n<p>Under the overall direction of the Head of the Bursary Department, you will take responsibility for research and data analysis as well as the development of the alumni <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">programme<\/span> of the bursary office.<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the HCI Foundation bursary alumni programme<\/li>\n<li>Be the point of contact between graduates, alumni and the bursary office<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain good relations between alumni, the bursary office and key players at tertiary institutions<\/li>\n<li>Conduct bursary related research in tertiary and data analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">Requirements<\/span>:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Numerical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Competent Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel and Power Point)<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills, <span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">ability<\/span> to work in team and good listening skills<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">Command<\/span> of English<\/li>\n<li>Methodical and organised<\/li>\n<li>Capable of prioritising <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">tasks<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Effective organisational skills with great attention to detail and high level of accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Initiative, creativity, and a \u2018can-do\u2019 attitude<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to the values of the HCI Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Honesty and integrity at all times<\/li>\n<li>Minimum three\u00a0years\u2019 tertiary qualification degree in business or finance related studies<\/li>\n<li>Graduate with at least one\u00a0year of work experience or involvement in community development projects or University\/ student related activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<div class=\"field-label\">Location: Western Cape<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-label\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"field-label\">\n<div class=\"field-label\">Opportunity closing date: Monday, 17 April, 2017<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-label\"><\/div>\n<p>To apply, submit your CV and motivation letter CV to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:alumni@hcifoundation.co.za\">alumni@hcifoundation.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Former HCI Foundation bursary recipients are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The HCI Foundation is an independent trust, controlled by its trustees, drawn from people across the spectra of social development and financial experience.
