Its innovative practices along with an uncompromising emphasis on the development of thinking skills and our caring ethos based upon respect for <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">individual<\/span> differences, ensure that we strive towards the holistic education of our pupils.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">Applications<\/span> are invited for an Intern position at the Nursery school.<\/p>\n<p>Only candidates who are firmly established in their studies towards a Bachelor in Education Degree (Foundation Phase) with a special interest in Early Childhood Development (ECD) will be considered for the position.<\/p>\n<p><b>The ideal candidate will:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a special interest and love for young children.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to understand and communicate with young children in well-established English.<\/li>\n<li>Be self-motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Be kind and patient at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Have a positive and flexible personality.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to take the initiative in a variety of situations.<\/li>\n<li>Be comfortable under the guidance of teaching staff.<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to keep an orderly and organized learning environment, both outdoors and indoors.<\/li>\n<li>Have well-developed social and observational skills<\/li>\n<li>Exercise integrity and discretion.<\/li>\n<li>Have sound <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">computer skills<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Engage in activities which support the daily routine and expectations of the school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">opportunities<\/span> provided will enable the candidate to obtain teaching experience in the Pre-Preparatory environment.
