Digby Wells Environmental is a South African<\/span> company with international expertise in providing Environmental and Social services to South African and International clients, with the focus predominantly on the Mineral Resources and Energy sectors in Africa.<\/p>\n

Digby Wells Environmental (Digby Wells) is the brand under which the services of the group of companies are marketed. Digby Wells and Associates (Pty) Ltd was formed in January 1995 by three partners \u2013 Digby Wells, Ken van Rooyen and Graham Trusler \u2013 all three<\/span> previously from the Environmental Management Department of Rand Mines. The company is named after the late Mr Digby Wells, who made a significant and lasting contribution to the environmental management field in South Africa.<\/p>\n

Graham Trusler is the current Chief Executive Officer of Digby Wells & Associates, who ensures the company remains driven by the mission of being the premier environmental and social services provider to the resources industry in Africa.<\/p>\n

Digby Wells Environmental, a service provider to the resources industry, is looking for a candidate for the position of Finance intern in our Bryanston office.<\/p>\n

A Finance Intern will contribute to our organisational goals by ensuring the effective administration and management of the organisation\u2019s finance system.<\/p>\n

Job Objectives:<\/b>
\n\u25a0 Process receipts into the cashbook.
\n\u25a0 Accurately manage and process the petty cash and ensure supporting documentation is available.
\n\u25a0 Undertake to capture and recover all debts<\/span> that are outstanding and\/or due to the organisation.
\n\u25a0 Create<\/span> and distribute all invoices on behalf of the organisation.
\n\u25a0 Ensure all financial administration is accurately completed. (Files, scanning invoices etc.)
\n\u25a0 Address any queries relating to debtors.
\n\u25a0 Effective administration of the tender and vendor process.
\n\u25a0 Assist in the balance sheet and income statement reconciliation.
\n\u25a0 Assist in preparing audit schedules.
\n\u25a0 Assist in the compilation of the Creditors Reconciliation
\n\u25a0 Filing of documents.<\/p>\n

Requirements:\u00a0<\/b>
\n\u25a0 Working knowledge of financial principles (Debtors, invoicing, etc.); and
\n\u25a0 The mining and consulting industry would be beneficial.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>
\nBCom Degree in Accounting\/Finance An all-inclusive remuneration package will be on offer.<\/p>\n
