Opportunities are available for Finance as well as Internal Audit graduates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date of acceptance:<\/strong> 1 June 2017 or as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong>: R 100 000.00 annually \u2013 stipend (as set out in the National Treasury Guidelines for the Implementation of MFMIP)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A three-year Bachelor\u2019s Degree \/ National Diploma with major concentrations in Economics, Accounting or Finance, Internal Auditing or Risk Management<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in at least two (2) of the official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans\/English\/Xhosa \u2013 Speak, Read and Write)<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy (MS Office applications)<\/li>\n<li>High level of responsibility and ability to give attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Accountancy and numeracy skills<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of monthly reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and or experience with regards to Internal Audit processes<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting in the implementation of accepted municipal accounting practice and budgetary reforms<\/li>\n<li>Training in the key performance areas of Internal Audit<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliations and financial analysis<\/li>\n<li>Electronic collection of financial data<\/li>\n<li>Internal Audit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><br \/>\nClosing Date is 05\u00a0May 2017 at 15:30.<\/p>\n<p>A covering letter with three contactable references, must accompany the completed prescribed application form (available on request at Tel. 022 913 6000 or\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bergmun.org.za\/media\/files\/2013\/HUMAN%20RESOURCES\/Aansoekvorm-Nuwe.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>click here to download<\/strong><\/a>)\u00a0with certified copies of the necessary qualification certificates and a Curriculum Vitae, to reach the Municipal offices, Piketberg or mailed to P.O.
