{"id":36129,"date":"2017-05-03T10:18:25","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T08:18:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=36129"},"modified":"2017-05-08T17:16:18","modified_gmt":"2017-05-08T15:16:18","slug":"1500-x-metro-police-officers-opportunity-jmpd-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/1500-x-metro-police-officers-opportunity-jmpd-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"1500 X Metro Police Officers Opportunity with JMPD 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>The City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality is looking for 1 500 enthusiastic, committed and brave men and women of the highest integrity to undergo an intense training<span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">programme<\/span> where they will stand to become elite trainee members of the Metropolitan Police Officers.<\/div>\n<p>Metro Police Trainees will be accepted and undergo training and, upon successful completion of the training, be considered for employment as Metro Police Officers<\/p>\n<div><strong><span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">Requirements<\/span><\/strong>:<\/div>\n<div><em>Applicants must:<\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Be South African citizens<\/li>\n<li>Be in possession of a valid Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4)<\/li>\n<li>Be domiciled within the jurisdiction of the Johannesburg Metropolitan area (<span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">applicants<\/span>must provide original proof of residence)<\/li>\n<li>Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years<\/li>\n<li>Be physically and mentally fit (comprehensive medical certificate must be submitted together wifh the <span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">application<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Be able to subject themselves to and successfully complete a pre-training fitness test<\/li>\n<li>Have no cnminal conviction\/record<\/li>\n<li>Have no civil judgement(s) relating to fraud and\/or corruption against their name<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to allow their biometric data and other information be taken for purposes of checking for criminal records<\/li>\n<li>Be proficient in English<\/li>\n<li>Be in possession of a valid minimum Code B driver\u2019s licence (<span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">manual<\/span> transmission)<\/li>\n<li>Have no objection and be prepared to carry a firearm and the scheduled uniform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Personal attributes<\/strong>:<\/div>\n<div>Candidates should be reliable, honest, have the highest sense of justice and integrity, a positive attitude, be patient and have the ability to work under pressure, under all weather conditions and shift hours.<\/div>\n<div><strong>Terms of Training<\/strong>:<\/div>\n<div>For the duration of training, trainees will be subjected to the terms of training contracts.
