The Financial and Fiscal Commission (FFC) is an independent statutory advisory body that makes recommendations to Parliament, Legislatures and organized local government on any financial and fiscal matters.<\/p>\n
The FFC conducts evidence-based policy-related research that aims to ensure the creation and maintenance of effective, equitable and sustainable system of intergovernmental fiscal relations (IGFR) in South Africa. Internship:<\/p>\n
The FFC is offering internships in 2017 to provide unemployed graduates with an opportunity to gain practical experience within the IGFR\/ Public Finance sector.<\/p>\n
The internship at FFC further provides incumbents with an opportunity to benefit from skills transfer and exposure to programmes and work activities of the Commission through coaching and mentoring.<\/p>\n
We are looking for applicants<\/span> with no work experience and who have not previously benefited from an internship programmes.<\/p>\n Job Description:\u00a0<\/b> Salary<\/span>: The intern will receive an annual stipend as follows:<\/p>\n Undergraduate<\/span> R171 069.00 Applicant should demonstrate a sound knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint and proven ability to work with various quantitative software packages would be an advantage.<\/p>\n Applicants should also have good writing and presentation skills, with excellent command of written and spoken English.<\/p>\n The internship is reserved for South African citizens aged 35 years or younger.<\/p>\n Priority will be given to designated groups and applicants with a postgraduate<\/span>qualification.
