SG Lourens Nursing College<\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a South African citizen, 35 years of age o younger and residing in the Gauteng Province<\/li>\n<li>In possession of one of the following school leaving certificates\u00a0A Senior Certificate, a National Senior Certificate or National Vocational Certificate Primary Health (Level 4).<\/li>\n<li>The following subject criteria are required:\n<ul>\n<li><em>Senior Certificate:<\/em> English HG D or SG C, Biology HG D or SG C and an M score of 15<\/li>\n<li><em>National Senior Certificate:<\/em> English Level 4. Life Sciences Level 4 end an APS of 25 (Life orientation counts half the score)<\/li>\n<li>Current Grade 12 learners must meet the National Senior Certificate requirements in their Grade 11 final results.<\/li>\n<li><em>National Vocational Certificate:<\/em> 50% In Fundamental Subjects (English First Additional Language. Maths\/Maths Literacy. Ute Orientation) and 60% in the Vocational Subjects (SA Health Care System. Public Health. The Human Body and Mind and Community Oriented Primary Care)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES<\/strong>: \u2022 Problem-solving ability \u2022 Patience \u2022 Love for people \u2022 Organisational ability \u2022 Leadership ability \u2022 Flexibility \u2022 A sense of humour \u2022 Calmness during a crisis \u2022 Communication, numeracy and life skills \u2022 Computer literacy \u2022 Study skills \u2022 Honesty \u2022 Compassionate and caring individuals who are prepared and willing to work night duty, weekends and public holidays are Invited to apply for a limited number of Student Nurse posts.<\/p>\n<p>All short-listed candidates will undergo a compulsory assessment and following further shortlisting an interview.
