Take the opportunity now and become part of the thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions world.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Specification<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform general civil and structural analysis and design under guidance of senior engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the drawing office to assist with layout options from which the appropriate civil and structural calculations will be done, overseen by a senior civil and structural engineer.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with draughting and 3D modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Perform library maintenance by expanding the already existing standard calculations, with guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with site inspections.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in reviewing of civil and structural designs and layouts.<\/li>\n<li>Keep records of work as required for the department and\/or project.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to engineering standards.<\/li>\n<li>Modernise the <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">design process<\/span> by making use of the latest design software capability.<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing with and contribute to other departments on behalf of engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Education and Experience<\/p>\n<p>B.Eng (Civil) or B.Sc in Civil Engineering Degree<\/p>\n<p><b>Skills Required<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Time management<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate conversant with Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Critical <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">Attributes<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creativity and innovation<\/li>\n<li>Dead-line and quality oriented<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">Attention to detail<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Location: \u00a0Head Office-Sunninghill<\/div>\n<p>Interesting in joining the thyssenkrupp family? \u00a0Send your CV to the following <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">e-mail address<\/span>: <a href=\"mailto:recruit@thyssenkrupp.com\"><b>recruit@thyssenkrupp.com<\/b><\/a>.
