This intern will be trained to the key areas below. They will work closely with external e-retailers who purchase items at wholesale prices from us. The internship will run until January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an intern that is eager to learn from the ground up and get involved in the wholesale distribution side of e-retailing. The position will be based at our Head Office in Diep River.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyse and respond to merchandise performance:<\/li>\n<li>Stock replenishment of key lines<\/li>\n<li>Removal of slow sellers<\/li>\n<li>Managing of lead orders stock file and keeping it updated<\/li>\n<li>Daily Sales Report<\/li>\n<li>Return of stock<\/li>\n<li>Determine selling prices of merchandise for sale:<\/li>\n<li>Determine sale price on slow sellers before returning<\/li>\n<li>Propose a product range for a wholesale:<\/li>\n<li>Planning and scheduling sale bundles for daily deals<\/li>\n<li>Planning sale campaigns on available stock<\/li>\n<li>Research and analyze competitor strategies:<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate daily deals and sale bundles against competitors prices<\/li>\n<li>Manage the supply of stock through the supply chain:<\/li>\n<li>Managing lead time orders<\/li>\n<li>Managing Returns<\/li>\n<li>Customer Account Management<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring customer accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Requirements &amp; Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to interpret data to make informed decisions<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiator with a merchant mind set<\/li>\n<li>Strong prioritization, planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Smart creative, willingness to innovate \/ take calculated risks<\/li>\n<li>Marketing skills<\/li>\n<li>Team Player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location: Western Cape<\/p>\n<div>Send your cover letter and email to <a href=\"mailto:HR@readerswarehouse.co.za\"><b>HR@readerswarehouse.co.za <\/b><\/a>with the postion you are apply for on the subject line.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Should you have not heard from us within 3 weeks of your submission of your CV, please consider your application unsuccesful<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking an intern for the Wholesale division.
