The\u00a0successful\u00a0applicant will join the IOA team as a dedicated sales and marketing assistant and will work directly with the company\u2019s CEO and senior management on selling reports and marketing the firm.<\/p>\n<p>In On Africa (IOA) is a Johannesburg-based research, advisory and publishing\u00a0firm with a\u00a0comprehensive focus on Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0company\u00a0boasts more than 300 expert consultants and various strategic partners spread across the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>IOA\u2019s product and service offerings are housed within three\u00a0complementary company divisions: Consulting, Publishing and\u00a0Content Marketing.<\/p>\n<p><u>The role of the sales and marketing intern will include (but not be\u00a0limited to):<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing IOA reports<\/li>\n<li>Conducting market research<\/li>\n<li>Selling IOA reports<\/li>\n<li>Selling advertising space in IOA reports<\/li>\n<li>Ideal personal skills and attributes:<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in cold calling<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about Africa, sales and marketing<\/li>\n<li>Able to work in a team<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivator and deadline driven<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about learning<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good people skills<\/li>\n<li>Good communicator<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and critical thinker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Position: \u00a0Sales and Marketing Assistant<br \/>\nClosing date for applications: 19 May 2017<br \/>\nQualifications: Relevant to Marketing and Sales<br \/>\nExperience: At least 1 years of experience in telesales<br \/>\nLocation: Johannesburg (Randburg)<\/p>\n<p>Term: Full or part time (negotiable, dependent on applicant\u2019s availability)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Detailed CV<\/li>\n<li>Letter of motivation<\/li>\n<li>Copies of all academic achievements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><br \/>\nSubmit the following to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:human.resources@inonafrica.com\">human.resources@inonafrica.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IOA is inviting applications from students with a passion for Africa, Sales and Marketing.
