{"id":36398,"date":"2017-05-23T15:15:30","date_gmt":"2017-05-23T13:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=36398"},"modified":"2017-05-23T15:15:30","modified_gmt":"2017-05-23T13:15:30","slug":"dept-health-learner-artisan-opportunities-may-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/dept-health-learner-artisan-opportunities-may-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"Dept of Health: Learner Artisan Opportunities May 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Location: Pretoria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stipend: R60 000 per annum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES<\/strong> : Produce designs according to client specification and within limits of production capability, Produce objects with material and equipment according to job specification and recognized standards, Conduct routine maintenance, Maintain and inspect equipment and\/or facilities for technical faults, Repair equipment and facilities according to standards, Test repaired equipment and\/or facilities against specifications, Service equi pment and\/or facilities according to schedule, Perform administrative and related functions, i.e. provide inputs on the compilation of technical reports, Keep and maintain job record and other registers, Maintain and adhere to agreed developmental plan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Senior Certificate (Grade 12),<\/li>\n<li>A recognized National Diploma or N3 and N4 in<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Building Construction,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Electrical and Plumbing or equivalent,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A passed Trade Test as Artisan,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Technical analysis knowledge in the field of the post may be an advantage,<\/li>\n<li>Technical analysis knowledge,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Computer \u2013 aided technical applications Report writing,<\/li>\n<li>Production, process knowledge and skills,<\/li>\n<li>Good generic, problem solving, analysis, decision making, team work, planning, organizational and analytical skills,<\/li>\n<li>Creativity, self \u2013 management,<\/li>\n<li>Customer focus and responsiveness,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Good communication (written and verbal) as well as computer (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint) skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All short \u2013 listed candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics of which will be communicated by the Department. Following the inter view and technical exercise, the selection panel will recommend candidates to attend a generic managerial competency assessment (in compliance with the DPSA Directive on the implementation of competency \u2013 based assessments). The competency assessment will be testing generic managerial competencies using the mandated DPSA SMS competency. assessment tools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nApplications should be submitted on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dpsa.gov.za\/dpsa2g\/documents\/forms\/employ.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">form Z83 <\/a>obtainable from any Public Service Department, and should be accompanied by a CV (previous experience must be com prehensively detailed) and certified copies of qualification certificates (including Senior Certificate\/Grade 12 certificate regardless of the qualification requirement indicated in the advert), service certificates, including ID and driver\u2019s licence.
