{"id":36442,"date":"2017-05-29T12:45:06","date_gmt":"2017-05-29T10:45:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=36442"},"modified":"2017-05-29T12:49:20","modified_gmt":"2017-05-29T10:49:20","slug":"department-mineral-resources-offers-internshipexperiential-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/department-mineral-resources-offers-internshipexperiential-learning.html","title":{"rendered":"Department of Mineral Resources Offers X56 Internship\/Experiential learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Mineral Resources offers internship\/experiential learning opportunities to South African youth who wish to apply in the field that are in line with the departmental core business listed below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2017\/2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Remuneration: The interns will receive a minimum stipend of R3861 per month.<\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: 15 June 2017.<\/p>\n<p><u>Applications are invited from N6\/National diploma\/degree\/postgraduate candidates in the following disciplines\/fields of study:<\/u><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careersportal.co.za\/mediafiles\/2017\/may\/URS_Ads22007_city_press_dmr_interns.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.careersportal.co.za\/images\/2017\/dmrtable.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><br \/>\nSubmit your certified latest documents quoting the reference number as stated above.<\/p>\n<p><u>Requirements:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unemployed South African Graduates with a tertiary qualification in one of the above-mentioned fields of study and who have not been previously employed under any internship programme are invited to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants should not be above the age of 35 years.<\/li>\n<li>Applications must be submitted on a fully completed Z83 form obtainable from any Public Service department, stating the field for which you are applying (from the above list), reference number and province for placement, and attach a recently updated CV, as well as originally certified copies of matriculation certificate, qualification(s) certificate with academic transcripts (record), N6 certificate, three-year qualification and ID (certification should not be older than 3 months).Candidates wish to apply for internships\/experiential learning outside their respective regions must be willing and able to find their own transportation and accommodation considering that they will not earn a salary, but only a stipend.Failure to submit the required documents, as well as applications received after the closing date will result in the application not being considered.\n<p>Enquiries: Ms Nomvuyo Sam, tel. 012 444 3722 or Ms Rosina Manabile, tel. 012 444 3052.<\/p>\n<p>Duration: Successful candidates for Internship Programmes will be appointed on a 12 months contract, from 01 September 2017 to 31 August 2018 \/ Experiential Learning for 18 months contract.<\/p>\n<p>Persons appointed will be subjected to security clearance.<\/p>\n<p>Please forward your application to: The Director-General, Department of Mineral Resources, Private Bag X59, Arcadia, 0007 OR hand-deliver to Trevenna Campus, 70 Meintjies Street, Sunnyside, Pretoria, for attention of Ms Nomvuyo Sam.<\/p>\n<p>Note: Short-listed candidates will be subjected to an interview to determine their suitability.
