Salary: R 6 196 .80 pm based on a minimum of 20 shifts per month<\/strong>Minimum Requirement: <\/strong>\u00a0Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent<\/p>\n

Other Requirements:\u00a0 Must be able to work in a team as well as the ability to functi on independently \u2022 Will be required to safeguard Council\u2019s properties, exercise access control and the enforcement of Council\u2019s by \u2013 laws \u2022 Sound interpersonal skills \u2022 Must be able to work shifts and irregular hours \u2022 Must be able to work under pressure \u2022 Good health \u2022 Must wear pr escribed uniform \u2022 Preferably s ituated in Greater Stellenbosch \u2022 Good communication and language skills in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans, English, Xhosa) \u2022 Appointments subject to police clearance \u2022 Must complete the relevant training in law enforcement and obtain a peace officers qualification<\/p>\n

Responsibilities\/Duties:<\/strong>\u00a0 Protect municipal officials and council property<\/p>\n

Recommendation<\/strong>:\u00a0 Valid Code EB and or Code A driver\u2019s license and\/or learner license \u2022 Registered Law Enforcement \/ Peace Officers qualification\u00a0 \u2022 Preference will be given to applicants with relevant law enforcement experience.<\/p>\n

In addition to the abovementioned salary, this position offers competitive benefits which include a 13th cheque, medical aid, pension, housing subsidy \/ allowance and removal costs under certain conditions.<\/p>\n
