{"id":36537,"date":"2017-06-06T12:52:35","date_gmt":"2017-06-06T10:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=36537"},"modified":"2017-06-06T12:52:35","modified_gmt":"2017-06-06T10:52:35","slug":"36537","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/36537.html","title":{"rendered":"Media and Communications Intern Opportunity at MSF SA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MSF South Africa is looking for a confident and media-savvy Media and Communications Intern with a passion for humanitarian work to assist the Media Liaison Officer and Press Officer in the Communications Unit with various media-related administrative tasks, including archiving media footage, researching and updating media contacts, recording media requests, media monitoring, compiling MSF media mentions, updating the MSF information boards with media content as well as assisting with information sharing within the office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><br \/>\n1.\u00a0Media monitoring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct regular media monitoring of print, online and broadcast outlets through online content monitoring service (News clip), newspaper subscriptions and online media alerts (e.g. Google Alerts).<\/li>\n<li>Compile and circulate regular media monitoring reports for internal circulation<\/li>\n<li>Update the MSF SA website \u2018MSF in the Media\u2019 page with MSF media mentions<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update the media clippings archive<\/li>\n<li>Manage MSF Press Twitter page (create Tweets, monitor and promote engagement with new and existing followers, compile monthly activity reports).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Media and Press Officers with compiling data for monthly media reports &amp; coverage analysis (including MSF Press Twitter engagement &amp; website Press page analytics)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Information sharing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compile and circulate weekly organization\/operational updates.<\/li>\n<li>Update the information board with media content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4.
