The purpose of this program is to provide unemployed youth with an opportunity to enroll for a National Certificate in Food &amp; Beverage Packaging NQF 3. They will enter into a one-year, fixed term contract with Ibhayi Brewery during which they will undergo both on-the-job and off-the-job learning, culminating in a national qualification.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Run Production Machines (80% of the duration of learnership)<\/li>\n<li>Perform Maintenance, Inspection &amp; Cleaning on Production Machines and environment<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and Perform Quality analyses relating to the Production processes<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining a Healthy and Safe working environment<\/li>\n<li>Completion of theory and practical assignments and tests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric with Mathematics and English.<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Engineering will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>No experience required.<\/li>\n<li>Matric, N qualification \/ Diploma PC literacy (Excel, Word)<\/li>\n<li>Physically fit (Physically demanding environment)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to self manage, with initiative and bias for action<\/li>\n<li>Enquiring and analytical thinking ability<\/li>\n<li>Great attention to detail with the ability to prioritise<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Self motivated<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in teams<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to work shifts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A Learnership is a structured learning programme that combines theoretical training and on-the-job learning in an integrated programme.
