Diploma or Degree in Nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registrationwith the SANC as a Professional Nurse plus a post-basic nursing qualification with duration of at least 1 year accredited with the SANC in terms of Government Notice no. R212 in the relevant speciality. A minimum of 4 years appropriate \/ recognisable experience in nursing, after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 2 years\u2019 experience working in accident and emergency\/ Theatre \/ ICU unit with duration of at least 1 year Post Basic Qualification in above mentioned specialities. Good communication skills, verbal and written;understanding of National Core Standards; able to work under pressure.<\/div>\n<div>DUTIES:Provision of optimal, holistic specialised nursing care with set standards and within a Professional Legal Framework. Effective utilization of resources, participation intraini<\/div>\n<div>ng and research. Provision of support to nursing service. Maintain professional\/ growth \/ ethical standards and self-development. Work as part of Multi-Disciplinary team to ensure good nursing care that is cost effective, equitable and efficient manner.
