Aerosud has an established apprenticeship program with an in house training facility for the various trades.<\/p>\n
Apprentice training<\/span> will take place over a maximum of 4 years in the either of following two\u00a0trade disciplines:<\/p>\n The above programs are approved by the Transport Education Training<\/span> Authority (TETA). The company\u00a0was identified<\/span> as an ISOE, \u201cInstitute of Sectoral Occupational Excellence) in 2010.<\/p>\n As an ISOE, Aerosud was tasked to develop national standard training material and assessment documentation for Apprentices<\/span> being trained in Aircraft Structures (Sheetmetal Workers).<\/p>\n In 2011 this training and assessment material was registered with the TETA as the official South African Aerospace Industry standard<\/span>.<\/p>\n Based on the success of the Aircraft Structures project and the quality of training material developed, Aerosud has been tasked by the TETA to do the same for the \u201cAerospace Composites<\/span> Worker\u201d.<\/p>\n This new project commenced in September 2017.<\/p>\n Aerosud is an established leader in the South African aviation industry<\/span>, and a recognised and respected brand in the very competitive international market<\/span> place.<\/p>\n Aerosud considers that its business, management and technical skills has the potential for long-term sustainability as a credible, commercially successful private business enterprise.<\/p>\n Specification:\u00a0<\/b>Apprentice training will take place over a maximum of 4 years in either of following two trade disciplines:<\/b> Closing Date: 03 July 2017.<\/p>\n Location: Pretoria<\/p>\n\n

\n– Unemployed person between ages 18 and 26 will to study full time
\n– Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (average 50%)
\n– Candidate will be subject to handskills-, numeracy-, and literacy tests
\n– N3 Trade Theory advantageous<\/p>\n
