At this stage there were only 2 000 certified public accountants practicing in the USA. e forerunner to BDO in South Africa, Charles Welby Steward was started in Cape Town in 1916. In 1938, Jock Spencer and Bill Shaw formed Spencer Shaw Hood &amp; Co in South Africa. Bob Hood joined last and the name changed to Spencer Shaw Hood &amp; Co.<\/p>\n<p>As a BDO professional, you\u2019ll work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, helping to drive BDO\u2019s growth as we continue to add clients and be the leader in exceptional client service.<\/p>\n<p>At BDO, we make it a priority to provide our interns and entry level professionals with mentorship, flexibility, and learning opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>BDO Johannesburg has a vacancy for an Internal Audit trainee within the Internal Audit business unit.
