The graduate programme is directed to at university graduates who have completed or in the process of completing their degrees in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Our 24-month internship programme offers graduates opportunities to enhance skills and gain meaningful workplace experience to complement their studies.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates must be in their final year or have completed their degrees and or post graduate studies with an average of 60% or higher and must be South African citizens. A comprehensive selection process is also followed, including and not limited to interviews and case studies.<\/p>\n<p>The internship programme runs for twenty-four (24) months. Permanent placement in the<br \/>\ndepartment after the programme is not guaranteed. Interns are encouraged to apply for<br \/>\npermanent positions after one year on the programme.<\/p>\n<p>University or University of Technology students with undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in the following fields may apply:<br \/>\n\u2022 Accounting<br \/>\n\u2022 Business Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Enviromental Science<br \/>\n\u2022 Statistics \/ Applied Mathematics \/ Quantitaitve Methods<br \/>\n\u2022 Built Environment<br \/>\n\u2022 Economics<br \/>\n\u2022 Econometrics<br \/>\n\u2022 Finance<br \/>\n\u2022 Financial Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Financial Planning<br \/>\n\u2022 Human Resources Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Information Technology \/ Information Systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Internal Audit<br \/>\n\u2022 International Relations<br \/>\n\u2022 International Politics<br \/>\n\u2022 Public Finance<br \/>\n\u2022 Public Administration \/ Project Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Political Science<br \/>\n\u2022 Public Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitoring and Evaluation<br \/>\n\u2022 Development Studies<br \/>\n\u2022 Philosophy<br \/>\n\u2022 Supply Chain Management \/ Procurement \/ Logistics<\/p>\n<p><strong>Complete and submit thIS\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.treasury.gov.za\/graduate\/Internship%20Programme%20Application%20Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Internship application form<\/a>\u00a0and attach the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application form<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of your S outh African ID<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Full official academic re cord<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All interns receive on-the-job training and will attend learning interventions both behavioural and technical arranged by the Department.
