The Bursar will undertake a Bursary Agreement with Lonmin which includes 8 weeks\u2019 vacation work annually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 \u2013 Average of 60% or higher in both Mathematics and Science.<\/li>\n<li>Formal qualification: University results \u2013 C average (60%) or higher in one of following disciplines:\n<ul>\n<li>Pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Medical Doctor<\/li>\n<li>IT<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Chemical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Metallurgy<\/li>\n<li>Analytical Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Survey<\/li>\n<li>Geology<\/li>\n<li>Mining<\/li>\n<li>Electronic Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Human Resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend lectures at University\/Technicon.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct compulsory practical vacation work of 8 weeks per annum as per bursar programme outcomes and\/or University\/Technicon project.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all Company policies, standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner.<\/li>\n<li>Capturing and reporting of information.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective team relationships and support.<\/li>\n<li>Engage relevant stakeholders to gain the necessary business context.<\/li>\n<li>Support and promote a positive work environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Closing Date: 18 August 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/lonmin.pnet.co.za\/index.php?s=#s=job_search\">Apply Online for the Lonmin: Bursary \/ Scholarship Programme 2018<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BURSAR will be a full-time student, undertaking vacation work and gaining practical experience in the relevant disciplines.
