The Learnership period will be 12 months in duration. The training will involve both theoretical classes as well as a practical component at this Complex.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"requisitiondetails-label\"><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl26_requisitionControl_lblLabel\">\n<li>Attendance of theoretical classes at the AECI Training Centre situated at Chem Park, Chloorkop one week per month for ten months.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake Freight Handling experiential training within a Logistics and Stores environment.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake Shift work and\/or Overtime duties as and when required.<\/li>\n<li>Achieve competency in all relevant NQF Level 3 Unit Standards and compile a Portfolio of Evidence in support of this qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"requisitiondetails-label\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl28_requisitionControl_lblLabel\">\n<li>Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with Mathematical Literacy \/ Mathematics \u2013 Accounting would be advantageous).<\/li>\n<li>Age group 18 \u2013 25 years.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work within a Chemical environment.<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"requisitiondetails-label\"><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul id=\"ctl00_cphContent_ncRequisition_ctl30_requisitionControl_lblLabel\">\n<li>Team Work.<\/li>\n<li>Communication.<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/aeci.erecruit.co.za\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/170918-2\/Freight_Handling_Learnership_x8\">Apply Online for the AEL Learnership Programme<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Closing Date: 02 October 2017 Location: Modderfontein AEL is in the process of appointing 8 unemployed Learners to study towards a National Certificate in Freight Handling (NQF 3).
