{"id":37856,"date":"2017-10-13T12:42:11","date_gmt":"2017-10-13T10:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=37856"},"modified":"2017-10-13T12:42:11","modified_gmt":"2017-10-13T10:42:11","slug":"office-premier-bursary-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/office-premier-bursary-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Office of the Premier Bursary Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the Premier invites all learners and students (unemployed youth: 35 years and less) who are South Africans and are residents of the North West Province, who desire to study or are studying on full-time basis at tertiary institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The Office of the Premier invites all learners and students (unemployed youth: 35 years and less) who are South Africans and are residents of the North West Province, who desire to study or are studying on full-time basis at tertiary institutions to apply for Kgetsi-Ya-Tsie (KYT) Bursary and Skills Development Fund bursaries available for the 2018 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Bursaries will be awarded to learners who are financially needy and academically performing well.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>These bursaries target Grade 12 learners;<\/li>\n<li>those who have already passed Grade 12 in previous years;<\/li>\n<li>and students who are already at tertiary institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>People with Disabilities are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p>(The closing date for the submission of the completed application forms is 31 OCTOBER 2017).<\/p>\n<p><u>DEGREE \/ DIPLOMA IN PROGRAMMES RELATED TO:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agriculture<\/li>\n<li>Culture<\/li>\n<li>Tourism<\/li>\n<li>Construction, Building and Roads<\/li>\n<li>Mining Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Other Engineering fields<\/li>\n<li>Accounting \/Commerce and Finance<\/li>\n<li>Health related fields<\/li>\n<li>Education<\/li>\n<li>ICT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NB: Application forms are available from www.nwpg.gov.za and at the following Offices \/ Distribution Centres:<\/p>\n<p><u>Office of the Premier:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bursary, Learnership &amp; Internship Programmes Unit, (Ga-Rona Building) Ground Floor, West wing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Labour Centres; District &amp; Local Municipalities &amp; Traditional Authority Offices and All the Provincial High Schools.<u>Office of the Premier District Offices:<\/u><\/li>\n<li>Brits &#8211; 45 Harrington Street;<\/li>\n<li>Bojanala &#8211; Opposite NW FM, Mabe Business Park;<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Ruth Segomotsi Mompati &#8211; Mini-Garona Building, Entrance B, Vryburg<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Kenneth Kaunda &#8211; 309 West end Centre, Leask Street, Klerksdorp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><br \/>\nNB. The completed Bursary Application Form, together with certified copies of all the required documents should be submitted directly to Office of the Premier, Ga-Rona Building \u2013 Bursaries (Ground Floor) or at the Offices \/ Distribution centres mentioned above.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Documents to be attached<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Fully completed Bursary Application form (SECTIONS: A \u2013 E)<\/p>\n<p>2 Proof of physical address (home) document: A letter from the Traditional Authority Offices for those residing from the villages and a letter from the Municipality Offices for those of Town \/ Townships \/ farm; (Not statement of account, e.g. water bill, etc.);<\/p>\n<p>3 Certified copy of ID Document (student);<\/p>\n<p>4 Certified copy of Statement of results \/ Matric Certificate (Matric Certificate is compulsory for all applicants)<\/p>\n<p>5 Certified copy of End of year results \/last academic results (Students already at tertiary)<\/p>\n<p>6 Certified copy of University Acceptance letter.<\/p>\n<p>7 ATTACH PROOF OF PARENT \/S\u2019 &amp; GUARDIAN INCOME DOCUMENT\/S: SALARY PAYSLIP\/S (NB. In case of Deceased parent\/s also attach copy of Death Certificate\/s).<\/p>\n<p>8 Are you disabled?<\/p>\n<p>9 NB.
