Applications<\/span>\u00a0are invited for the above-mentioned positions to be based in the Cellar Department at Nederburg, Paarl.\u00a0The successful<\/span>\u00a0candidates will report to the Cellar Manager.<\/p>\n

Key performance areas include (but are not limited to):<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Assisting the winemaker in the execution and control of daily winemaking and wine maturation activities<\/li>\n
  • Assisting with stock control<\/li>\n
  • Crushing and pressing cellar and related activities during harvest<\/li>\n
  • Ensuring all quality systems are maintained and followed in the Winemaking Department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The successful\u00a0candidate<\/span>\u00a0must preferably have the following experience\/ skills:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Previous experience in a pressing cellar as a student will be\u00a0advantageous<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The ability to work with minimal supervision<\/li>\n
    • Physically healthy and strong<\/li>\n
    • The ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n
    • Willingness to work overtime<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualification required:<\/b><\/p>\n

      Studying towards or already in possession of BSc degree or Elsenburg Diploma in Cellar Technology<\/p>\n
