The Breede Valley Municipality invites individuals who comply with the requirements set out below, to apply for participation in Learnership programmes commencing in 2018. The aim is to provide individuals the opportunity to secure a skill within a speci\u001f c trade and enhance employability within the local community. The focus area is SKILLS DEVELOPMENT within selected qualications that will ensure opportunities for individuals wanting to enhance the training. Applicants can apply for the following learnership programmes:<\/p>\n
ROADWORKS Level 3 (SAQA ID 24173): This qualication is for persons who work or intend to work within roadwork construction. It is assumed that learners are already competent in Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 1. Minimum Criteria to enter this qualication:<\/p>\n
WELDING Level 2 (SAQA ID 57886): This qualication is for learners wanting to follow a career in welding. It is assumed that learners are already competent in Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 1. Minimum Criteria to enter this qualication:<\/p>\n
PAINTING Level 3 (SAQA ID 65490): This qualication is a sub-\u001f eld of construction and is for persons who want to work or intend to work within a construction context on or o\u001e site. It is assumed that learners are already competent in Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 2. Minimum Criteria to enter this qualication:<\/p>\n
Please take note the duration of the above-mentioned programmes is 12 months.<\/p>\n
