The position is based in Pretoria.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide administrative project management and research support to the TSO competence area. This may include general office support duties as well as research support including fieldwork activities and stakeholder interaction;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct literature reviews to assess international best practice in the field of behavioural research;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the design, planning, execution and management of surveys;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with conceptualisation of methodologies and appropriate research tools;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with qualitative and quantitative data collection, capturing and collation;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the development of appropriate qualitative and quantitative models and interpret their outputs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications, skills and experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An Honours degree in behavioural economics or social sciences, A Master\u2019s degree in behavioural economics, social sciences, psychology, sociology or a similar discipline would be an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent must be interested in pursuing a Doctorate degree;<\/li>\n<li>Registration with relevant professional body would be an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organising skills;<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving and solution-seeking orientation;<\/li>\n<li>Time-management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and networking skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise and multi-task;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with quantitative and qualitative analysis software;<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel within South Africa or internationally;<\/li>\n<li>Numerical and research skills;<\/li>\n<li>Mathematically inclined;<\/li>\n<li>Resourceful and versatile personality;<\/li>\n<li>Must have good communication, presentation and writing skills;<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate;<\/li>\n<li>Must have a valid driver\u2019s licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b><a href=\"https:\/\/candidate.csir.co.za\/psp\/hr91prd_cgw\/EMPLOYEE\/HRMS\/c\/HRS_HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL?Page=HRS_CE_JOB_DTL&amp;Action=A&amp;JobOpeningId=308813&amp;SiteId=1&amp;PostingSeq=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>The CSIR is an equal opportunity employer.
