The learning opportunity exists in various departments such as:- Finance, IT, Marketing, Crushing and Screening, Procurement and Human Resources.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this Learnership is to obtain workplace skills and professionalism (Business Etiquette) and to put into practice the theory you have been taught.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of Learners are placed in the department that correlates with their\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">qualification<\/span>.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We aim to have clearly defined roles for Learners to ensure that the theoretical understanding gained whilst studying is tested and enhanced through practical\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">application<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Sandvik is an engineering group in tooling, materials technology, mining and construction.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\nKey performance\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">areas<\/span>:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide administrative support<\/li>\n<li>IT systems maintenance and support<\/li>\n<li>Attend to external and internal customer queries<\/li>\n<li>Reception and customers receiving duties<\/li>\n<li>Preparing journals and process accurately to GL accounts and cost centers<\/li>\n<li>Preparing payment requisitions accurately with correct GL accounts and cost centers<\/li>\n<li>Correct filing methods according to Sandvik instructions<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile Accounts Payable (BCD), capture and pay the supplier on time without unresolved queries<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with customer\/supplier to resolve claim related\/supplier queries<\/li>\n<li>Keep to the set deadlines\/turnaround times<\/li>\n<li>Targets met within deadline set by Supervisor and line Manager<\/li>\n<li>Generating weekly reports on outstanding queries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">Requirements<\/span>:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric (Grade 12).<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma in the related field<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work efficiently within a team environment and complete duties in an autonomous manner.<\/li>\n<li>Performance oriented and willing to make a positive contribution to team success.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively communicate, liaise with a range of stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to excellence and timeliness in internal client service<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and willingness to learn<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer literacy<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure for long per<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">Applications<\/span>\u00a0close on 20 December 2017.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Location:\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">Johannesburg<\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.home.sandvik\/en\/careers\/job-search\/jobs\/experiential-leaner-356183\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sandvik is committed to representivity in the composition of its employees and the creation of\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">job opportunities<\/span>\u00a0across all sectors of the\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">South African<\/span>\u00a0populat<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sandvik is offering experiential learning opportunities at Jetpark in Boksburg.
