The successful incumbent will report to the relevant Trade Channel Manager.<br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Purpose of the Position<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their last year of study and require In-Service Training in order to obtain their\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">qualification<\/span>and\/or those recently graduated but\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">unemployed<\/span>\u00a0and require exposure in a work environment. Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract commencing 1 February 2018 and terminating 31 January 2019.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, investigate, validate &amp; implement new shopper promotional opportunities by attending events, visiting trade and collating data.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Process Campaigns in ERP System i.e SAP.<\/li>\n<li>Improve and optimise internal business processes.<\/li>\n<li>Collate all internal information to provide actionable insights.<\/li>\n<li>Design reports in excel.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate creative elements to themes.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange collaborative promotions for shopper reward cards, club cards and internet shopping.<\/li>\n<li>Setting up account specific Point Of Sale innovation through the business.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate shopper promotions and communicate results back to the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>The successful\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">candidate<\/span>\u00a0must have the following\u00a0qualification, skills and experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary\u00a0qualification\u00a0\u2013 degree: Degree in BSc Bus Sci, BSc Comp Sci, Bsc Eng, BSc Stats.<\/li>\n<li>Decision making and project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse and generate meaningful insights from numbers &amp; data as well as market\/qualitative\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">info<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in cross functional groups within the business unit.<\/li>\n<li>Results and goal orientated, always able to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn and make a difference.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy \u2013 Word, Excel, Power Point.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team.<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s License and own transport is essential.<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">South African<\/span>\u00a0citizen.<\/li>\n<li>Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Prospective interns must submit the following:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Covering letter\/ Letter of motivation.<\/li>\n<li>A Curriculum Vitae.<\/li>\n<li>Certified\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">academic record<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate.<\/li>\n<li>A letter from the tertiary institution.<\/li>\n<li>A format for evaluation, required by the tertiary institution.<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of identity\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">document<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Closing Date: 25 January 2018<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/career5.successfactors.eu\/career?career_ns=job_listing&amp;company=C0001101178P&amp;navBarLevel=JOB_SEARCH&amp;rcm_site_locale=en_GB&amp;career_job_req_id=10123&amp;selected_lang=en_GB&amp;jobAlertController_jobAlertId=&amp;jobAlertController_jobAlertName=&amp;_s.crb=81OXZ7mL6zq9C2iZy6MYHrTe7C4%3d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<div id=\"AdCode\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications\u00a0are invited for the above mentioned positions in the Southern Africa Trade Development department, based at Techno Park in Stellenbosch.
