Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.<\/p>\n<p>As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and administration team to offer support in daily ad-hoc duties. This\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">internship<\/span>\u00a0will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies.<\/p>\n<p><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Event &amp; Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Draft critical path and timelines, and adhere to weekly touchpoints.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain quotes &amp; liaise with suppliers and vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Submit summarised proposals for internal events.<\/li>\n<li>Work alongside the Marketing and Human Resources departments to implement action plans for quarterly key performance indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Research &amp; Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Assist with market research on minor topics<\/li>\n<li>Interpret &amp; summarise data<\/li>\n<li>Monthly marketing report (data extraction from multiple controlled media channels)<\/li>\n<li>Internal Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Obtain quotes and liaise with suppliers &amp; vendors<\/li>\n<li>Assist with internal company newsletter<\/li>\n<li>Execute basic graphic design elements<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Social Responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Identifying opportunities for the company to engage in meaningful social outreach<\/li>\n<li>Including staff<\/li>\n<li>Focus on market-related opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Focus on education-related opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with potential beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Ensure transparent communication between\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">beneficiary<\/span>\u00a0and Marketing and Human Resources departments.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with career centres at\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">schools<\/span>\u00a0and colleges (working with the Human Resources and Marketing departments).<\/li>\n<li>Administration<\/li>\n<li>Assist with travel\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">bookings<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Scanning of\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">documents<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Basic filing of\u00a0documents.<\/li>\n<li>Organize and schedule appointments<\/li>\n<li>Submit expense claims on behalf of employees.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain office supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PREFERRED\u00a0SKILLS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Telephone etiquette &amp; strong interpersonal communication \/ Excellent verbal and\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">written<\/span>\u00a0communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong research skills<\/li>\n<li>Basic design skills (ability to use Canva) \u2013 this can be taught easily if the candidate is not already familiar<\/li>\n<li>High cognition and ability to learn quickly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>PREFERRED\u00a0PERSONALITY TRAITS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Energetic<\/li>\n<li>Mature<\/li>\n<li>Driven<\/li>\n<li>Displays hunger for knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">REQUIREMENTS<\/span>:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing and Communications Degree or relevant degree<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office<\/li>\n<li>Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Location: Durban<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are a fast-paced organisation that provides an exciting, dynamic environment where talents are showcased and skills are enhanced.
