We are an equal opportunities employer and we offer corresponding salary packages.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As municipal employees, we ascribe to the values as underpinned by Batho Pele, a Sesotho word which means \u201cPeople First\u201d.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This initiative was launched in 1997 to transform the Public Service at all levels.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Batho Pele was launched because post 1994\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">South Africa<\/span>\u00a0inherited a public service that was not people-friendly and lacked the skills and attitudes to meet the developmental challenges facing the country.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We have a position of an HR\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">internship<\/span>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Contract Appointment<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>All inclusive remuneration package: R66 000.00 per annum.<\/li>\n<li>An\u00a0internship\u00a0is currently available in Human Resource Management section for a<\/li>\n<li>candidate to gain practical experience in local government for only one year.<\/li>\n<li>This<\/li>\n<li>project is an initiative of the Department of Local Government Western Cape and is<\/li>\n<li>aimed at individuals who have recently obtained a relevant tertiary\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">qualification<\/span>, as<\/li>\n<li>mentioned below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<div><b>Qualification\u00a0requirements:<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\u2022 B. degree in Human Resources or equivalent\u00a0qualification<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Computer literacy in\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">MS Word<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">MS Excel<\/span>\u00a0with practical experience<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Valid code B driver\u2019s licence will be an advantage<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0<span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">Applicants<\/span>\u00a0must be literate in at least two of the three official languages of the<\/div>\n<div>Western Cape.<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Good written and verbal communication skills<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Closing date: 30 January 2018<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">Application forms<\/span>\u00a0are available at all ODM offices.
