{"id":38820,"date":"2018-01-19T13:13:07","date_gmt":"2018-01-19T11:13:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=38820"},"modified":"2018-01-19T13:15:20","modified_gmt":"2018-01-19T11:15:20","slug":"saps-motor-mechanic-internships-available-x350-vacancies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/saps-motor-mechanic-internships-available-x350-vacancies.html","title":{"rendered":"SAPS Motor Mechanic Internships Available X350 Vacancies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"introtext\">\n<p>The South African Police Service herby invites unemployed youth who conform to the requirements for a twelve-month internship programme at Division: Supply Chain Management (Garages).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The internship programme is part of the National Human Resource Development Strategy and the National Skills Development Strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Generic requirements: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be between ages 18 \u2013 35 *Be a South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Must be in possession of Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification \u201c(National Certificate Vocational Level 4 in Motor Mechanic)<\/li>\n<li>Must have no criminal record<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be unemployed and never participated in an internship programme previously<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be residents of the province where the post is advertised<\/li>\n<li>Applicants are restricted to apply for 3 positions only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please complete a separate application form for each of the 3 posts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NB: stipend for each category will be determined by the National Commissioner: South African Police Service Post<br \/>\n<u><strong>Additional Requirements <\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Certificate N3 in Motor Mechanic\/ Mechanical Engineering or N2 in Motor Mechanic\/ Mechanical Engineering Core Functions<\/li>\n<li>Perform quality and cost effective repairs and maintenance of SAPS vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a clean and safe working environment<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose, strip and determine the parts required for services and repairs<\/li>\n<li>Complete parts request list for the parts required per vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Complete job card with regards to work done and actual time taken<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe keeping of tools and equipment *Comply with the Occupational Health &amp;
