Creating the right image for the brand is paramount and affects the materials we decide to incorporate into the design. Apart from being technically proficient and creative, we have a keen mind for business and often approach a problem with innovative solutions.<br \/>\nWe regularly interact with our clients advertising agency and internal trade marketing teams in devising the trade solutions, especially if the POP material needs to flow from a broader campaign or initiative. High energy levels and passion abound. Our work alters the way the competitors in the respective categories are viewed by consumers.<br \/>\nCategory Management is becoming a priority for FMCG clients and our team is trained to ensure that whether you are category captains or a new sku entering a new segment, we will propose a display strategy with corresponding channel plan as part of our service to you. Looking forward to hearing from you!<br \/>\n<b>Duties\/exposure and training in:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Layout of artwork<\/li>\n<li>Drawing up of technical die lines and artwork die lines for agency<\/li>\n<li>Colour proofing \/ setting up of positives for screen printing<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with sample-makers to ensure samples (prototypes) are produced correctly<\/li>\n<li>Setting up of artwork approvals<\/li>\n<li>Nesting die lines efficiently to work our raw material yields\/requirements<\/li>\n<li>Set up print ready artwork for digital solvent printing, flatbed printing &amp; litho printing<\/li>\n<li>Management of artwork received from external agencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passed graphic design and printmaking subjects \/ similar<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail &amp; an eye for quality<\/li>\n<li>Strong administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player &#8211; must be willing to assist the team when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure &amp; work within tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Good problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Willing to work overtime if\/when required Advantageous, but not essential:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of different types of materials<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of different printing processes (digital, screen &amp; wide format)<\/li>\n<li>Applied mathematical skills in order to work our material yields<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; CorelDraw; Adobe Acrobat Pro 9<\/li>\n<li>Own transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Location: Blackheath<\/strong><br \/>\nSend your cover letter with CV to <a href=\"mailto:olivia@wayupfront.co.za\">olivia@wayupfront.co.za<\/a>.\u00a0Should you not receive a response within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Way Up front is a specialist in on and off consumption retail solutions \u2013 a manufacturer of innovative point of purchase.
