{"id":40206,"date":"2018-05-04T11:47:14","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T09:47:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=40206"},"modified":"2018-05-04T11:47:14","modified_gmt":"2018-05-04T09:47:14","slug":"thandulwazi-intern-teacher-training-programme-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/thandulwazi-intern-teacher-training-programme-2019.html","title":{"rendered":"Thandulwazi Intern-Teacher Training Programme 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A CAREER AS A TEACHER?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Thandulwazi Intern-Teacher Training Programme, in partnership with St Stithians College, is offering prospective teachers the opportunity to study towards a part-time 4-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) or 2-year Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), through UNISA, while gaining workplace experience at St Stithians College.<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates will be appointed from January 2019.<\/p>\n<p><u>Preference will be given to aspiring teachers who are:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passionate about exploring a career in teaching Mathematics, Life Sciences, Physical or Natural Sciences, Languages (across the phases); and ECD\/ Foundation Phase<\/li>\n<li>Students already registered in one of the above courses<\/li>\n<li>Grade 12 learners eager to explore a career in teaching who display strong academic results especially in Maths and\/or Science.<\/li>\n<li>From previously disadvantaged groups and\/or students in need of financial assistance.
