By participating in this learnership, you have the opportunity to build a successful and sustainable career in the retail industry and with Dis-Chem Pharmacies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\">Recruiter :\u00a0Dis-Chem<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\">REF:\u00a0CSMLNRSHP\/PTA\/RC\/May2018<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\">Be a part of the pilot group for the Dis-Chem Pharmacies Cosmetics Retail Learnership taking place in branches around Pretoria.<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\">All you need is a matric qualification and a passion for beauty, cosmetics and sales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\">The learnership will be based exclusively in the cosmetics department where incumbents will be groomed to become Cosmetic Sales Consultants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\">Limited positions available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\">Don\u2019t delay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\"><strong><span class=\"text-node\">Minimum Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1 c2\"><span class=\"text-node\">Essential:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"added-to-list1\">\n<li>Matric \u2013 Grade 12 and or Higher Certificates with a minimum of 50% for Maths Literacy<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about cosmetics and beauty<\/li>\n<li>Willing and able to work retail hours<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate in Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1 c2\"><span class=\"text-node\">Advantage:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"added-to-list1\">\n<li>Previous working experience within the retail industry<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s License and own transport<\/li>\n<li>SAP experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\"><strong><span class=\"text-node\">Job Specification<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1 c2\"><span class=\"text-node\">Function and Duties:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"added-to-list1\">\n<li>Assist with the loading and off-loading of stock and unpacking stock as it arrives.<\/li>\n<li>Handle all merchandise carefully to prevent any losses.<\/li>\n<li>Provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance and advice to all customers.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate products through, makeovers, cosmetic demonstrations, spray promotions or activities.<\/li>\n<li>Give advice to customers but do not force customers to change their preferable brand.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain expired and damage stock by adhering to stock rotation processes and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the counting of stock files and general stock taking when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, merchandising and displays must be maintained in both the window area and throughout the store.<\/li>\n<li>Present displays in an attractive manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full ranges of products are on the shelves at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Report low stock levels, items that are out of stock, damaged stock and expired stock to management.<\/li>\n<li>All out of stock queries from customers must be followed up with the customer service out of stock list.<\/li>\n<li>Mark merchandise and maintain displays according to Dis-Chem standards.<\/li>\n<li>Report all price discrepancies to management.<\/li>\n<li>Process payment at a Cosmetic Department Point of Sales (POS).<\/li>\n<li>Implement promotional activities according to business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve customer queries \/ complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Work towards achieving sales targets for different vendors and brands within the Cosmetics Department.<\/li>\n<li>Keep updated with in-depth knowledge regarding existing and new products, brands and the retail industry.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure bookings for Salon appointments are made correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for all cosmetics, fragrances and beauty house promotions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\"><strong><span class=\"text-node\">Advantageous:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"added-to-list1\">\n<li>2nd\u00a0Additional Language<\/li>\n<li class=\"pf-delete\">Ability to understand stock reports and sales<\/li>\n<li>Special conditions of employment:<\/li>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>MIE \u2013 Clear Criminal and Credit Record<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license or own reliable transport<\/li>\n<li>Be able and willing to work retail hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"added-to-list1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dischem.pnet.co.za\/index.php?s=advert_view&amp;g=8068&amp;x=5686463&amp;i=11984&amp;pop=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO VIEW AND APPLY ONLINE<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is an ideal opportunity for recent matriculants and the youth who did not have an opportunity to further their studies.
