{"id":40349,"date":"2018-05-15T11:36:42","date_gmt":"2018-05-15T09:36:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=40349"},"modified":"2018-05-15T11:36:42","modified_gmt":"2018-05-15T09:36:42","slug":"ndlambe-financial-directorate-budget-treasury-internship-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/ndlambe-financial-directorate-budget-treasury-internship-programme.html","title":{"rendered":"Ndlambe Financial Directorate Budget And Treasury Internship Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"introtext\">\n<p>The Ndlambe Local Municipality is inviting unemployed graduates residing within its jurisdiction to apply for the Finance,\u00a0TWO year graduate internship programmes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>1 x Accountant Intern (2 Year Fixed Contract) Stipend \u2013 R4 833.33 per month for year one and R8 333.33 per month for year two subject to assessment.<\/p>\n<p>The Ndlambe Local Municipality has secured funding from National Treasury (Finance Management Grant) to embark on a project that is aimed at ensuring the successful implementation of Budget and Accounting reforms within the jurisdiction of Ndlambe local Municipality.<\/p>\n<p>The programme will facilitate on the job technical skills of interns.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the project, Intern will undergo intensive training in Municipal Accounting and Financial Management.<\/p>\n<p><u>The Accounting and Financial areas include inter alia:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Revenue Collection and Debtors Administration<\/li>\n<li>Procurement and Payment of Creditors<\/li>\n<li>Cash Flow and Investment Management<\/li>\n<li>Risk Management and Short Term Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Bank Reconciliation and Financial Statements<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and in year reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>This position will suit candidates with the following profile:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate must be unemployed<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must not exceed the age of 35<\/li>\n<li>Belong to the previously disadvantaged group or background<\/li>\n<li>Must have an appropriate 3 years Degree or 3 years National Diploma in Accounting, Risk Management, Internal Auditing or Financial Management with Accounting II as a subject and Accounting III will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge of MS Office, Software Packages (MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak at least two languages spoken within the Council\u2019s area of jurisdiction,<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to undergo a performance assessment during the internship programme.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must come from the local area of jurisdiction (Ndlambe Area).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, please send your C.V, certified copies of qualifications, ID document, driver\u2019s license and covering letter (including details of at least 3 contactable references) to the *Human Resource Unit*, Ndlambe Municipality, P.O.
