Bursaries will only be offered to applicants who are currently in Grade 12 or in their first year of University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Our CSI strategy is aimed at facilitating the empowerment of talented individuals within a defined continuum of interventions including bursaries and other programmes through school and university to the workplace, so that they may realise their potential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions for submission of application forms<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Applications will only be considered if completed in full and signed by the applicant and if all the supporting documents have been included.<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Documents that accompany the application form must be certified<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 South African ID<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Grade 11 results<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 This year\u2019s June results (or your latest results if you are not studying this year)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Official Matric\/ NSC results if you have completed Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Tertiary students: June results or progress report of all subjects (if no examinations were written)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Payslips for your parent(s)\/ guardian if employed (or letter from employer and sworn statement or tax return statement stating income)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Latest financial statements if your parent\/ guardian is self-employed<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Sworn affidavits if your parent(s)\/ guardian is\/ are unemployed<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Death certificates if your parent(s) is\/ are deceased<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Divorce certificate if your parents are divorced<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Sworn statement from one parent if your parents are separated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection criteria for selected educational institutions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main criteria for the selection of applications are financial need and academic potential.<\/p>\n<p><u>Bursary applications are invited from young people who aim to study full time towards an undergraduate university (academic) degree in:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commerce (Economics, Business Economics, Accounting, Investments and Finance),<\/li>\n<li>BCom Informatics,<\/li>\n<li>BSc Computer Science,<\/li>\n<li>BSc Information Technology,<\/li>\n<li>BIT-Bachelors of Information Technology,<\/li>\n<li>BIS-Bachelor of Information Science,<\/li>\n<li>Business Science,<\/li>\n<li>Science and Mathematics,<\/li>\n<li>Engineering or Commercial LLB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NB!!\u00a0Only first year Actuarial Science students already at university will be considered.<\/p>\n<p><u>Academic selection criteria:\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants currently in Grade 12 and applicants already in possession of a National Senior certificate should have obtained at least 50% in all\u00a0their subjects with a minimum of 70% in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and 70% in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NB: Please apply timeously for admission to the educational institution of your choice.
