If good communication and interpersonal skills, along with thinking outside the box, set you apart, please apply.<\/p>\n<p>This is a six-month internship.<\/p>\n<p><b>Main responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selling advertising space<\/li>\n<li>Attending sales meetings with clients<\/li>\n<li>Striving to meet target every month<\/li>\n<li>Servicing existing client base and building new business relationships by means of face-to-face visits<\/li>\n<li>Prospecting and developing potential clients for the publication<\/li>\n<li>Attending product launches, exhibitions, and conferences where applicable<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with the team to ensure that the publication meets a standard to be proud of<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring sales and material deadlines are met<\/li>\n<li>Handling the administrative aspects of the selling process of the publication<\/li>\n<li>Increasing and updating the database for subscriptions when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Requirements:<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualification<\/li>\n<li>A recent graduate<\/li>\n<li>Relevant computer skills for a newsroom environment<\/li>\n<li>Curiosity<\/li>\n<li>An ability to produce quality content under pressure while meeting strict deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please send your CV as well as a Cover Letter explaining your interest in financial reporting and why you would be an overall great fit for the position, to\u00a0<b><a href=\"mailto:jobs@newmediapub.co.za\">jobs@newmediapub.co.za<\/a><\/b>\u00a0on or before the close of business on 30 June 2018.<\/p>\n<p>If you have not heard from us by 17 July 2018, please assume that your application was unsuccessful.
