Do you think you have what it takes for their Engineering Graduate Programme?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Omnia has an exciting opportunity for young South African citizen graduates who are interested in gaining experience, growing and developing skills and nurture their ability to take their career and learning curve into new heights.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for Civil Engineering graduates for a 12-month graduate program based at our production facility in Sasolburg where you will learn from experienced Engineers and Specialists. Then go ahead and apply for this awesome opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Minimum<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Eng Civil \/ B.Sc Civil Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 No previous experience required but any relevant previous work experience will be an advantage.<br \/>\n\u2022 Must not currently be enrolled in a graduate development programme.<br \/>\n\u2022 Academic performance will be taken into consideration.<br \/>\n\u2022 Must have done their final year thesis and advanced design project in structural engineering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The structural design of structural steel and reinforced concrete structures from the first principle as well as using design<br \/>\nsoftware in accordance with relevant SANS standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reviewing of designs done by third parties and conducting routine inspections of construction work to ensure compliance<br \/>\nwith approved designs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Tracking of projects and ensuring that projects comply with financial, technical and performance requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Proficient using Prokon Design and Analysis Software<br \/>\n\u2022 Proficient using Autocad draughting packages<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong technical writing capabilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Outstanding interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Good presentation skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.<br \/>\n\u2022 High energy levels.<br \/>\n\u2022 The ability to work independently under pressure.<br \/>\n\u2022 The ability to meet deadlines.<br \/>\n\u2022 Good problem-solving ability.<br \/>\n\u2022 Eager to learn.<br \/>\n\u2022 Out of the box thinker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please provide an updated CV and most recent academic records in your profile<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/omnia.erecruit.co\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/180514-2\/Engineer_in_Training_(Civil)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO VIEW AND APPLY ONLINE<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Omnia provides customized, knowledge-based solutions through their Mining, Agriculture and Chemicals divisions.
