Young adults from all over the world come to the centers for 3 months at a time to volunteer with the local population and participate in study sessions in International Development, Social Involvement, Identity and Activism.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Director<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and development of intervention programs in the local communities for Education, Public Health and Social Activism<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate relationships with local organisations, educational establishments and third sector organisations<\/li>\n<li>Manage and train employees<\/li>\n<li>Manage and lead volunteer groups<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing and logistics in the Ten Centre South Africa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional background and proven success in managing a large and multidimensional educational\/social project\/institution\/organisation<\/li>\n<li>Education professional committed to social involvement<\/li>\n<li>Rich and varied experience in social activism<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing volunteers and\/or volunteer projects<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and lead a team<\/li>\n<li>Complex project implementation and planning skills, including budget management and formative evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing a project of young people in boarding school\/community\/shared accommodation conditions<\/li>\n<li>Command of English (most of the oral and written work will be in English)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to undertake hard work in a changing intercultural environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to undertake a long term commitment (two years)<\/li>\n<li>South African citizenship<\/li>\n<li>Degree in a relevant field Education, Community Management, Social work, Sustainable and Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, CV to\u00a0<strong>ten@jafi.org<\/strong>\u00a0please specify in heading: TEN Project director plus location.<\/p>\n<p>Only suitable applications will be responded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date:\u00a0<\/strong>10th June, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project T.E.N is an International Development Volunteering and Educational programme that operates Volunteer Centers in various countries.
