Differentiated by our commitment and care, we deliver results that are both measurable and sustainable.\u00a0CareWorks Training, founded in 2007 and registered with the Services SETA, provides SETA-accredited training products to CareWorks customers. Since 2012, with support from the\u00a0U.S. President&#8217;s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, through the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CareWorks has worked as an HIV prevention partner in various workplaces and communities throughout South Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Position:\u00a0Quality Assurance Registered Nurse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Mahikeng, North West<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:\u00a0<\/strong>Quality Assurance Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:\u00a0<\/strong>Contract \u2013\u00a0Event Based\u00a0Linked to Funding<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:\u00a0<\/strong>ASAP<br \/>\n<strong>Educational Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong>Dip \/ Degree in Nursing (3-year)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workplace wellness programmes including NCD\u2019s and HIV<\/li>\n<li>Facilitation and education with the ability to deliver training<br \/>\nPostgraduate training in Primary Health Care Nursing or Public Health is highly desirable; Diploma in HIV\/AIDS management or NIMART training would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of SA DoH HIV\/AIDS\/STI\/TB guidelines with 3-5 years\u2019 experience working as a Clinical Trainer\/Mentor\/Facilitator in an HIV setting;<\/li>\n<li>Have played a role or managed the implementation and sustainability of quality assurance programme or as a master-trainer in the Rapid Test Quality Improvement Initiative (RTQII);<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the South African Nursing Council;<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver&#8217;s License (own vehicle for daily use is essential)<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to speak both English and Tswana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Inherent requirements of the position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Should be based in Mafikeng, North West<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous administrative skills;<\/li>\n<li>Extensive travel in Ngaka Modiri Molema, Bojanala and when necessary in Nkangala and Waterberg;<\/li>\n<li>Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage in one-on-one sessions;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the dynamics of donor-funded programmes in relation to HIV\/Aids prevention programmes;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of correct inventory management in relation to rapid-HIV test and peripherals;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Proficiency Testing, in HIV Serology;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Independent Quality Control (IQC);<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the value of cold-chain management;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and prioritise;<\/li>\n<li>Friendly disposition with good time management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Good client liaison skills;<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English with African languages being beneficial;<\/li>\n<li>Effective communicator;<\/li>\n<li>Punctual;<\/li>\n<li>Must have own transport and willing to use it for travel (reimbursed travel expense applies);<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable to the procurement requirements for the department;<\/li>\n<li>Analytical ability (reasoning and questioning);<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Results orientated;<\/li>\n<li>Strong time management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write reports<\/li>\n<li>Systems &amp; Applications skills and knowledge (MS-Word &amp; Excel essential, CareWorks -Dashboard;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and have a great attention to detail; and<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent must be current on the SANC registry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support HTS operations per district; and\n<ul>\n<li>Where necessary support the district coordinator at DoH or partner meetings;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>From time-to-time the incumbent would be required to represent the company at stakeholder meetings, e.g.: DoH, NHLS, and other partners;<\/li>\n<li>Where the company expand its operations in a new district, the incumbent will network with the relevant authorities pursuant to formalise a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU);<\/li>\n<li>When and if needed, the incumbent may be asked to perform site visits, either locally or at sites in differing provinces where our programmes are facilitated;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the continuous enrolment to external quality assurance initiatives; such as Proficiency Testing;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the distribution of Proficiency Testing Panels and the timeous submission of results to Head Office;<\/li>\n<li>Engage the respective district health pursuant to:\n<ul>\n<li>Introduce CareWorks as a prevention partner;<\/li>\n<li>Introduce the designated District Coordinator and Linkage Officer;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the local authority, the dispensing of commodities; including\n<ul>\n<li>Rapid HIV Test kits<\/li>\n<li>Male and female condoms<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate sharps disposers<\/li>\n<li>Bio-hazardous red bin-liners<\/li>\n<li>Disposable aprons<\/li>\n<li>HTS registers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the submission of statistics to the local authority;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the Regional Training Centre and other external training partners pursuant to continuous professional development of field-staff;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Where necessary, facilitate internal training modules<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and ensure the correct and consistent application of Internal Quality Assurance; including\n<ul>\n<li>The correct storage and transport of IQC-panels;<\/li>\n<li>Frequent ordering of IQC Panels<\/li>\n<li>Correct and consistent recording of IOC results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Discordant incidence\n<ul>\n<li>Record the incident;<\/li>\n<li>Fast-track the analysis of the ELISA; if authorised<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and document the circumstances which lead to the discordant;<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the call-centre to engage the affected client, pursuant to
